How To Live Beautifully #LiveBeautifully

April is “Earth Month” which also coincides with a fire that has been lit in my own life to  examine the beauty around me which also coincides with being asked by EcoTools® to write a thematic post about “Living Beautifully” (which I could not possibly be more qualified to write about right now!).  *deep breath*  I will never ever claim to have a perfect life but I love that I’m almost always blessed with the ability to flow with whatever floats my way.  That’s what it’s all about ladies and gentleman….

I live beautifully by….

  • choosing to focus on the beauty in everything and everyone.
  • choosing to see the light and be light.
  • choosing to let love guide me instead of letting fear paralyze me.
  • marching to the beat of my own drum.
  • living harmoniously with the Earth.
  • sharing things that make me happy in hopes that it will make other people happy too.
  • enjoying nature (even when nature doesn’t agree with my allergies).
  • being the change I want to see in the world.
  • listening to music.
  • listening with my heart.
  • giving others lots of grace because a little grace goes a long way.
  • being an optimist.
  • being resourceful.
  • being awake, aware, and focusing on my breath when I need to [always].

Not saying I’m a saint by any stretch of the imagination but I try.  Imagine if we all just tried.

Beauty really is just harmony and I’ve been striving for that more and more as I grow and try to raise children who are good humans.

I also like to…

  • make things pretty.  This often involves swarovski crystals and sometimes glitter.
  • eat a plant-based diet that makes me feel beautiful from the inside out.
  • improve myself.  I’m kind of a self-help junkie (Osho, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and Deepak Chopra are all my homeboys).
  • support people and businesses who do great things for people and the Earth.
  • share the beauty I see everyday through my iPhone lens via instagram.
  • find beautiful things (aka shopping).
  • be resourceful
  • focus my attention, energy, and money on things I think are awesome.
  • post inspiration on Pinterest and have created a Living Beautifully board in conjunction with this post.

Beauty is what you MAKE it.  You have more control over the beauty in your life than you probably give yourself credit for.

This is real.  Life is now.  And?  It’s really freaking beautiful.

Be {YOU} tiful.

Now it is your turn!  EcoTools® has created The Living Beautifully Community devoted to helping make you beautiful from the inside out but they need your help.  Share how you choose to live beautifully on their community wall (it’s gorgeous and worth taking a look at the very least) and we can not only benefit from each others knowledge but EcoTools® will choose 1 winner for every 50 posts (stories, quotes, photos, videos, etc.) and the more you post inspiration, the more prizes (in the form of Kabuki brushes) you have a chance to win.

I have fallen head over heels in love with this amazing, affordable, Earth-friendly company and it’s super-soft cruelty free products (don’t just take my word for it, feel them up next time you see them at the drugstore or grocery).  I can really appreciate all of the goodness and goodwill they are spreading throughout the globe and these here Internets.  You do too?  Well, hook up with them via their various social media channels as well.  Tweet them @ecotools and/or “like” them on facebook (below)….I like them and in lieu of flowers, I’d love an EcoTools® brush bouquet *hint hint* 🙂

Disclosure: I wrote this sponsored blog post while participating in the SocialMoms and EcoTools® blogging program.  The opinions and ideas expressed here are my own.
