High Altitude Face Care
I cared for my skin from the inside out with Aveeno® Active Naturals as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #Aveeno. All opinions are my own.
As I type this, I am celebrating Spring Break at Keystone Ski Resort. While this winter wonderland is as gorgeous as it is fun, it’s also a pretty harsh environment for my skin. I’ve been up to an elevation of 12,400 ft and the sun reflecting off the snow is intense.
In order for me to be able to enjoy my time in the mountains and not let these conditions have their way with my face–I packed some face care products that can nourish and protect my skin.
Aveeno® Ultra Calming® Foaming Cleanser and Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 contain naturally calming Feverfew (a herb valued for centuries that can help in reducing the appearance of facial redness and skin irritation).
Aveeno® Ultra Calming® Foaming Cleanser not only cleans my face, but it leaves it with the most luxuriously soft texture. I can tell that it’s gently cleansing my face without stripping it bare.
After I cleanse, it’s time to replenish and prep my skin for a day on the slopes. Sunscreen is such a HUGE must have on a ski vacation. I couldn’t be happier that AVEENO® Ultra-Calming® Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 is lightweight, doesn’t have that strong sunscreen-ish odor and moisturizes my skin all day.
Then I just put on my makeup as usual without having to worry about damaging my skin while I play in the snow.
Cheers to the natural beauty of the mountains and the natural skincare that helps make it all possible!
