If tattoos and jewelry were to fall in love, Hot Jewels would be their beautiful little lovechild.
Ever since I laid eyes on metallic temporary tattoos looking at New York Fashion Week coverage this summer (they were all over the runways), I have been completely obsessed with them. I’m just the sort of girl that loves a little (or a lot) of sparkle in my life. Then I went to Costa Rica where a friend shared her Hot Jewels with me and I was hooked. Hot Jewels were even more gorgeous in person and the perfect way to accessorize an extra special vacation.

Hot Jewels are shaping up to be the hottest trend of the fall/winter season and it’s easy to see why. They’re a fun, creative and affordable ($10 per collection + $5 P&H) way to add instant style and glamour–no commitment or special skills involved. Here’s a video I made with tips, tricks, and style advice on wearing Hot Jewels metallic temporary tattoos.
As I said in the video, Hot Jewels last 4-6 days (on me personally, the ones I put on my fingers last about a day because of constant hand-washing but everywhere else has been close to a week). There are so many ways to wear them and I think they will be a hit this fall/winter because it’s a gorgeous way to adorn those little bits of exposed skin.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing how I’m wearing my Hot Jewels and you can get even more ideas by following the #hotjewels hashtag on instagram. These are sure to because a staple accessory in my outfit photos.
Have you tried metallic temporary tattoos yet?
