3 weeks into 2014 and I am feeling very, very proud of myself. In an effort to become a buffer and more toned version of myself, I have amped up my strength training with Barbell Strength classes in addition to my pilates reformer training. It feels pretty darn good to step out of my Zumba + yoga comfort zone and to celebrate, I bought myself this new workout outfit (tank + capris + compression socks).

A few additional things that have been motivating me? The show Toned Up that follows web phenoms KarenaKatrina as they turned their YouTube channel into a brand. I’ve been adding Raw Fit plant-based protein powder into my green smoothies.
This song, Burn by Ellie Goulding, plays on repeat when I’m doing cardio.
