Sally Hansen French Mani Nail Polish Strips Review

Out of all the nail polish sticker/strips/gel out there (and I can promise you that I’ve tried 80% of them), Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips are my absolute favorite. They are so incredibly user-friendly, stylish, affordable, and long-wearing. For the longest time, I’ve been hoping and praying (and writing on their faeebook page) that they’d come out with a French Manicure version and yesterday while shopping at Target, I realized that my prayers had been answered! Hallelujah!!!

The french manicure nail strips are new and I know for sure that you can find them at Target and CVS for about $10-13. Application takes a little longer than your average nail strips because after prepping your nails, you first apply the white tips and then a clear/sheer strip over the top of that. It was fairly easy and I cannot stop staring/oohing/aahing at the fabulous results. It was easy enough for me to apply on both hands.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in French Mani are available in 7 shades so far: French Twist (white tips with a pinkish clear coat), Pink Macaroon (pink glitter tips), Gold Cabaret (gold glitter tips), Noir Boudoir (black tips), Polka Party (white with pink polka dot tips), Silver Lining (silver glitter tips), and Excuses Moi! (traditional white tip with beige-ish tinted clear coat).

I’ve been using these strips for years, have never had an issue with chipping (even with doing dishes and bathing babies), and I know that they will likely last for about 2 weeks when my nails grow out too much.

Have you seen the French Mani nail strips in stores? Do you plan to try them? What shade is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I saw these at the Houston Galleria Target last night! I’ll definitely have to go buy some after seeing how beautiful they look.

  2. Those look so good!! I have been searching online for a french manicure kit that will last because I’m going away for a wedding next week & I LOVE the french look, but I want something that will last the 9 days I’ll be away.. & I find anytime I do a french myself it just chips off and doesn’t turn out well. I use the sally hansen patterns of these for special occasions & love how they turn out & last. I think I will be buying these & using them next week! Thanks for the review 🙂

  3. I bought these in french twist from my local drugstore and I love them. They’re very easy to use. I have always loved french manicures and I’ve always done them myself, but these are really great and did I say easy to use? I’ll be buying another box!

  4. I personally started using OMG Nail strips with 2 layers of clear coat. I have tried almost every brand of nail strip on the market and Incoco and OMG Nail strips are by far the best.
