Here is a quick and dirty rundown of what I wore while at Disney Social Media Moms Celebration last week. My vision for my outfits was “resort casual” which also happened to be the official dress code. I also really wanted to wear bright colors as it is “on trend” and also reflects my mood these days.
On Thursday during the day we went to Magic Kingdom. I wore a navy/white striped tank from H&M, a baby blue lace racer back tank from Target, orange buckle headband from H&M (I bought the tank and headband in this haul video when the store opened at the Galleria Dallas), white pants are vintage CAbi, and Yellow Box Elizabee Flip Flops
. I got the boy’s outfit from Walmart and sandals from Kohl’s.
That evening at the Swashbuckler Soiree, I wore my first ever romper. I got it from one of those super-cheap mall junior’s stores (I think it was called Bloom).
Friday was a conference day and I wore a neon yellow sheer sleeveless button down shirt, striped cardigan, and green shorts (all Forever 21) and brown wedges I got from Ross a few years ago. I also met Malise of Carolina Mama there (also a mom fashion blogger) and I kind of love her.
That night, we headed to Animal Kingdom after hours for a party and I wore a mustard and navy chevron dress from the aforementioned super-cheap mall store.
Saturday I went to a few breakout sessions and Animal Kingdom wearing a Matilda Jane cardigan, sheer coral ruffle blouse, a coral camisole, blue shorts from Forever 21, and the previously mentioned brown wedges (wore the flip flops to the park).
That night at our final bash to the [soon-to-be-open] Art of Animation Resort, I wore a striped tank, belt, and maxi dress folded down to be a “skirt” (I even did this when I was super pregnant with baby Rocco). The big boy is wearing H&M and the little is wearing a little outfit I got from the consignment store.
On our final day, we went to Epcot before heading to the airport and I wore my years old Norma Kamali for Walmart maxi dress over a nursing tank that was adjusted to fit the racer back style, and an H&M cardigan and hair barrette clipped on the strap for some added style).
So that’s that. I bought some new clothes, remixed some old clothes, wore the same few pairs of shoes and had a fabulous time.
