Last week was one of those weeks where everything went down and up, sideways, and in loop-dee-loops. It was seriously insane but all is very well and I’m thankful that even when I don’t take time to blog here, I can still connect and share via social media.
The week, really reinforced to me what motherhood is all about and how appropriate that it was also the week before Mother’s Day. One of the highlights for me was attending Muffins with Mom at my oldest son’s preschool.
I wore a dress that I found the day before at Ross (for $13.99!) which just happened to coordinate really well with a piece of jewelry that was custom made specifically for me….
The belt is one of those army-issued, one-size-adjustable belts that I got from a vintage store in Asheville, NC a few years ago. If this belt could talk, it would tell you that I’m less than 10 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight (woohoo!).
The necklace wasn’t the only gift I received at Muffins with Mom….oh no it gets better. I also got smacked in the face with reality when I read the following:

Of course every mother wants to raise honest children but maybe not quite SO honest. Thanks kid.
