What I Wore: Pinspiration, Outfit Tips, and Breastfeeding Tricks!

Today I was really feeling inspired to get dressed and ready to rock some of the inspiration I have been getting via Pinterest (can you tell that I am totally addicted?!). Almost everything I’m wearing has been worn and posted here before but not quite like this…hopefully this little remix will be especially useful for those of you looking into your full closets with “nothing to wear” and I have a handy (and stylish) alternative to a breastfeeding cover!

If I can decide on ONE single item that I want to wear, I can put together an entire outfit.  That’s my secret folks–in this case I started with my jeans…because they fit (without a muffin top anymore!!! *fistbump*).  I then decided on the shirt (also seen here–when I was pregnant), then the slouchy boots with enough of a heel for a figure flattering lift yet still comfy/functional, then the scarf for some color pop (tied like this) and my stylish coordinating diaper tote c/o kokopax.

My pinterest inspirations are as follows: backwards necklace and hair (a messy version).

Oh AND…..my outfit has breastfeeding superpowers (I have a love/hate relationship with my circus tent-like Hooter Hider).

  1. I love the milk drunk! B will unlatch and just flop back. Super cute outfit and looking GREAT!

  2. Our babies are at that “fun” stage where they get curious while nursing. Roc unlatched while I was at lunch with friends and they witnessed me spray the table a little bit. So glam!

  3. Love it!! You are amazing, someday when I grow up can I be like you!! Seriously though love your style!!

  4. You should help me find some pants and clothes that actually fit while I’m home next week, haha.  I’m still convinced that I’m a size ten, but all of my pants that are size 8 are now baggy. I can’t bring myself to accept that I might need a size 6 since I think I’m between the two sizes. I’m back in that ugly adolescent phase when we were freshmen in high school where I refused to wear tight clothing!!!  :/

  5. I thought tha I was ge only one using the pashmina as a nursing cover all. Feels good to know that someone else is doing the same thing. It’s lonely out here when nursing!
