Instagram Love, Tips, and my Top 11 Photos

I love instagram and yesterday evening, I feel like instagram loved me back.  I posted my first picture on April 5, 2011 and almost one year and 814 instagram iPhone photos later….I was featured by the Instagram_Kids account.  This may not mean much to most of you but I’ve been tagging my photos #Instagram_Kids for I’m-not-sure-how-long and been inspired by the children’s photography that gets featured by them even longer than that.

The picture (to the left) was posted about 6 hours ago and has received 2013 “likes”/”loves” (hearts?).

I’ve been meaning to do a post about my favorite iPhone photo apps and edits and I can’t think of a better time to start than now that I feel somewhat validated by this achievement.

Here are some of my favorite (and most popular shots)….I’ll try to narrow it down to 10 and maybe do a slideshow video when I have time.  My secret to taking great (to me) photos is shoot a lot and shoot with your heart (and sometimes your appetite).
