This Memorial Day Weekend has been a very busy one for us. On Friday I went to Courtney’s Bachelorette Party and then on Saturday I attended 4 events within 12 hours. I wore the same dress and shoes throughout, styled slightly different for the occasions. The maternity dress is fairly simple, comfortable, and beautifully designed (under $30 woohoo!). I love how it drapes over my baby belly. The yellow wedges were exactly what this outfit needed to add a POP of color and style, they also proved to be infinitely comfortable after I had to walk a mile in them on the campus of UNT at the graduation.
To the Bachelorette Party, I wore the following:
maternity dress Motherhood via Destination Maternity | earrings probably Forever 21 | bracelet Charming Charlie | yellow wedges ‘Teala’ by Xhilaration at Target
I could write a love letter to these shoes after the way they treated my feet the past 2 days! No comfort insoles needed.
I love this little sparkly guy!
The next day, I didn’t need to re-curl my hair because the curls had turned into loose waves. I refer to them as “leftover curls”. This outfit took me to a graduation, post-graduation party, birthday dinner for my dad, and dinner party with Scott’s friends. I only added a gray camisole tank underneath (to make my cleavage for daytime-friendly), a necklace, and lace cardigan.
Yes, I’m still very much in love with my Essie Turqouise and Caicos polish (that’s I’ve been wearing since Easter on my fingers and toes).
The dress and shoes are linked to the images below.
Stay tuned for an upcoming post about what to wear with yellow shoes as I navigate this new fashion territory myself. Today I have Court’s wedding to attend and I can’t wait to share that outfit with ya’ll! 🙂
What have you been up to this Memorial Day Weekend? Would you be so bold as to wear yellow wedges? Let me know in the comments!
