Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips

As most regular readers probably already know, I love nail polish/treatments and I now have a new favorite in Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips.  These trendy little strips were on my Favorite Drugstore Beauty and Hair Products post for All Things Chic (a fashion/beauty blog I contribute to).  They retail for about $9.99 or less and I’ve found them at Walgreens and Walmart.

What I love about them is that not only do they look cool but they are easy to apply and they look nice (without chipping) for as long as you can stand your nail beds growing out (for me 7-8 days).

Check out this great tutorial by the ladies at BeautyBurg about the best ways to apply them and a rundown on the details:

Here is another favorite print, misbehaved.

Here’s what they look like after 7 days

What do you think?  Have you tried Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects or plan to?  Let me know in the comments!

  1. I tried them and love them! They last several days despite the dishes, diapers and bath times that usually chip my polish off:)

  2. I just tried these this morning!! I have the lace ones on–found them to be easy, but some of the strips did not fit my nails, so that is kind of irritating. But overall, I think it looks great and hopefully, it lasts!
