What I Wore: Mom In Mini-skirt

Today after my very exciting discovery of this scarf tying video, I was FINALLY able to wear the scarf that I bought at H&M this summer (hooray!).  AND I finally got to wear the purple corduroy mini-skirt that I bought at Half of Half in October (yippee!).  I was a happy gal…

Before I even got dressed or thought about getting dressed today. I painted my nails with this Purple Crush by Orly color.

The “fireball” earrings are from JC Penney.
Ring is borrowed from my mom.

I realize the purple mini-skirt is fairly impractical for most moms….it was impractical worn this way for me.  I sacrificed some of the mobility that I generally enjoy with my son and I was unable to crouch or bend over–but it was a school day and I’ll likely wear tights or leggings next time I wear this.  So…that is me being avant garde lol.  I love this outfit with all of it’s inherent obstacles….it totally goes against every piece of fashion advice I’d offer
