Yesterday I went to Dallas’ Margarita Ball with my husband and at the last minute, I decided to hit up my local Half of Half Name Brand Clothing for a new formal dress. If you are unfamiliar with Half of Half see my report. They have a pretty sweet selection of formal dresses 😉 If you have any important occasions to dress up for this holiday season (and you have a Half of Half store near you….sorry if you don’t), then check this place out for sure!

I found not one but two lovely formal dresses!  I ended up letting my husband make the call on which dress I’d wear to the Ball.

Both gowns are totally spectacular & each was $29!!!

He chose this one and with the help of my girl shorts, fashion tape, and majorly uplifting support, I managed to pull it off. 🙂

I did my own hair (YouTube updo tutorial) and makeup (fake lashes).
LipStain is Maybelline SuperStay lipcolor 745 w/ MAC ‘Dazzle’ lipstick over it
Earrings are Stella & Dot (bridesmaid gift from BFF)
necklace – Charlotte Russe

I’m not sure if you can see it but it has a slit up the front and made me feel very “Blair Waldorf”.

I bought this Xscape dress from Half of Half Brand Name Clothing for $29 to wear to Dallas’ Margarita Ball.

Once again, Half of Half has rocked my world.  And you should know that on Wednesday they’ll have a new shipment that includes Uggs, Juicy, and Theory.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with or compensated in any way by Half of Half, I’m just a lover and sharer of frugal fashion and want my readers to know all my secrets so that they can be hot mamas too.  🙂
