my local Half of Half Name Brand Clothing store

On Thursday morning after dropping my tot off at school and having breakfast, I discovered a Half of Half Name Brand Clothing store in my hood (there are lots of locations in Dallas-Ft.Worth)!  I had heard about Half of Half from a friend and it is a store with name brand clothing  for [at least] 75% off retail price.  I saw (and bought) brands like White House Black Market, Marc Jacobs, Rampage, Ann Taylor,  The Children’s Place,  Motherhood Maternity, Frye boots, etc for a fraction of the prices you’ll see at the mall and department stores.  So, if you love quality, name brand clothes at deeply discounted prices, check out my report/fashion haul below.

Half of Half video notes

  • Half of Half is not a super fancy store, it just has super fancy returned/overstocked clothes.  The store looks like a thrift store at first glance but that’s part of it’s charm. 😉
  • Clothes are at least 75% off of retail/department store prices
  • You’ll get a $5 off coupon for signing up for their eInsider email program and they’ll send you emails that will let you know what shipments are arriving on Wednesdays.
  • Read the clean and repair tips so you know how to take care of any damaged items (I personally don’t mind the often small price of fixing a high quality item).
  • Check the posted signs to find out which tags are marked down even further.

Red Camel Premium Denim Corduroy Skirt $9
green printed wrap dress $22

strapless floral dress $15
quilted purse $3
White House Black Market dress $19 (orig $160)
Relic JCPenney purse $3
Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater $39
Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater has minor damage

My first experience was a good one, I’m sure this store isn’t for everyone and unfortunately there may not be one located near you.  I only saw about a quarter of the store before I ran out of time (and money). 🙂

What do you think?  What are your favorite bargain stores?  Have you ever gotten a GREAT deal on a super-fab piece of clothing?  I want to hear about it in the comments!

{Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this store or received any compensation for this post. It’s just good stuff that I feel compelled to share.}

  1. Hi Valerie. I was reading your facebook posts about Half of Half in Richardson, and now your blog about it (great website you have by the way). I love your descriptions of the store in Dallas, and your postings of all the great items you found last Thursday. Hopefully you will have time to shop the entire store next time. Great review…and I’m not just saying that because I’m biased towards that store (I am the Manager of that location)! Make sure you stop and introduce yourself the next time you visit us.

  2. its the worst store i ever seen in my life. their merchandise are all junk and thrifty. its hard to find something without defect in their threft store. somtimes they have items find it on other store cheaper and without any defect. the manger there ( richardson half half) so mean and don’t know  and learn how to deal with customers …………………
