a $10 tunic TWO ways

*This is my entry for LizzieBtv’s Get Your Vlog On.  If you are a vlogger (or want to be) just jump in and start!  It is so much fun to connect with people this way.

Here is where you can find the tunic. I’m wearing a medium even though I normally wear small on top but I had to take my hips into account and I’m glad I did (a tape measure is an online shopper’s BFF ;)

Outfit 1 notes:  I realize that I could have taken the time to run a brush through my hair but I was in the middle of cleaning and it was naptime and time is of the essence ;) .

I wore a tank under the tunic to cover the straps of a racerback bra because I wasn’t in the mood to be showing collarbone during the day (even though collarbones are a favorite unappreciated feature of mine).

The necklace was Juicy Couture and I got it from Hautelook.  When the Juicy hits Hautelook, you have to shop as soon as the boutique opens because the good stuff goes in minutes.  Of all the sample sale sites, I buy from them the most and wish their shipping was as fast as RueLaLa.

Leggings were $5.99 at Ross and gladiator sandals were $22.99 at Target.

Nail polish is Kookamango by Sally Hansen (the complete manicure line).  I like it on my toes but chips like crazy on my nails.

Outfit 2 notes: Hair by YouTube (video below).  Chose a strapless bra and accessories were from my first Fashion Haul.

The destroyed skinny jeans are from Alloy, I love that they have crazy long inseams (I have on 37″).

Here is the hairstyling video for some sexy date night hair:

I love that tunic! I have a pattern for one from the early 80s. What colors would you suggest for basics like that? I never know what choose. Gray for sure, but what else? I’m always buying black.

I also had gladiator sandals similar to yours back in ’86….I think I should have kept all my clothes!! LOL!!

I love both looks – I think I will check this tunic out and see if they are still available for 2/$20! Thanks for the video and for the hot roller one too – I have been doing it wrong and now know how! Thanks! Have a great week!

V, first of all you are too damn gorgeous!! Second of all, lovin’ the tunic bargain. May have to go check out the VC website. I love how you showed the tunics versatility in our everyday lives as moms and then on a date night. As for the hot rollers – girl, I gave up on those a long time ago. For the life of me I can’t put hot rollers in my hair properly – it’s always a disaster! Thanks for linking up… love meeting new vloggers like YOU!
