Spring Trend Report #1

It may be January but I’m already happily absorbing trends for the next season. I’ve been done buying for winter and I’m ready to stock up for all of my springtime adventures.  My first purchase was a pair of Haviana platforms (but I got them half off thanks to Rue La La).  They are so comfy and elongate the legs unlike all of my flat pairs.

This is my first in the series of Spring 2010 Trend reporting.  This collage covers the Blue, Denim Dressing, Wedge, and Arm Candy trends.

Details on where to find everything here.
I must have that strapless denim dress (or something very similar) and the gap tote.

What spring trends are you looking forward to?  If there is anything in particular you’d like me to cover, let me know in the comments.

xoxo,
V

  1. Love the new blog look! I'm on DAM, but rarely post anymore. Too busy stalking blogs…LOL! I'm from LA, too…Abbeville, actually but have lived in Allen for almost 13 years.

  2. So, you’re a tall girl, right? I’d like to know your thoughts on tall women wearing high wedges and heels. I see SO MANY cute looks out right now, but everything is short skirs and high heels. I don’t want to look like I should join the circus…

  3. Yes, I am tall and love my high wedges and heels. Granted, the height of my heels is always inversely proportionate to the length of my bottoms. Flats/flip-flops with mini skirts/short shorts, heels with knee length skirts/bermuda shorts/capris, and sky high heels/wedges with pants/leggings/skinny jeans.

I used to be self-conscious about towering over people but then I realized that supermodels have the same problem and so it doesn’t bother me so much 😉 hehe
